Whose light this guide stands in.
Jagadhatri Guide, this website and the app, is an independent guide made by Nirjan Munshi with friends from Chandannagar. It rests on the work of many others; here they are, with the licences we use their work under.
Not an official guide
The guide is not made by or for the Chandernagore Central Jagadhatri Puja Committee, any puja committee, the police or the Chandernagore Municipal Corporation. The names of committees, pujas and places belong to them and are used only to say which puja is which. Always follow the announcements of the committees and the police on the ground.
The pandals and the procession
- Pandal list and the 2026 procession order: the lists published by the Chandernagore Central Jagadhatri Puja Committee.
- Founding years and jubilees: Jagadhatri Online and the committees themselves.
- Locations: walked and checked on the ground, compared against Google Maps, and corrected by visitors through the guide's map fixes.
- Descriptions, walks and everything else: written for this guide.
Maps
- Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License.
- Map tiles: cut from the Protomaps build of OpenStreetMap. The app carries them on the phone, so the map works offline; this website serves the same tiles itself.
- Walking routes: traced over OpenStreetMap streets by the FOSSGIS routing service (OSRM).
- Map libraries on this website: Leaflet (BSD 2-Clause licence) and protomaps-leaflet (BSD 3-Clause licence). The full licence of each package the site uses is in licences.txt.
Type
All three typefaces are under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. The website loads them from Google Fonts; the app carries them with their licences.

- Hanken Grotesk by Hanken Design Co., for text.
- তিরো বাংলা (Tiro Bangla) by Tiro Typeworks, for Bengali.
The app
Built with Flutter (BSD 3-Clause) and open-source packages, each listed with its licence in the app under Explore → About this guide → Open-source licences. Crash reports and warning notifications use Google's Firebase. The app icon, the bulb arch, the screenshots and the posters were made for this guide.
